United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been in the thick of things because of its thriving economy and rising eminence in world affairs.   Let’s unravel some interesting facts about the country.   Abu Dhabi happens to the capital city of UAE and Arabic is the most prominently used language.   The country has a total population of about 46, 18, 000 which is spread across in an area of 77,700 sq/km.    The region’s dialling code is +971 and the life expectancy is about 74 years, which is quite impressive.  Its literacy rate of about 78% is one of its strong statistics.

In terms of UAE’s exports, natural gas tops the list.  On the other hand, dried fish and crude oil are among the other top exports of the region.  Watermelons, vegetables, fish and poultry are among the most produced items in its agricultural sector.   Three of the most renowned cities of UAE are Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah.   While Abu Dhabi is the capital city of this Arabic country, Dubai has emerged as a cosmopolitan metropolis.  On the other hand, Sharjah also has its own important place in the scheme of things.

Due to the rampant infrastructural growth in the region, many tall buildings have come up here.  Burj Khalifa is the talent building in the UAE (and in the world) followed by other buildings as the Princess Tower and Burj Al Arab.
